My friend and aerodynamicist, David Lednicer, wrote an article in Sport Aviation, January 1999 issue. It is called "World war II fighter aerodynamics".

Dave works as an Aerodynamicist at Analytical Methods, Inc in Redmond, WA.

It is a truly interesting article where he compares aerodynamic features in between the P-51 Mustang, the Spitfire and the Focke Wulf 190 along with a CFD analysis.

The article is in PDF format.
